Troubleshooting
The Canva icon doesn’t appear when I hover over an image
The website may not support saving at this time. Try a different image or site. If it never appears, check that the extension is turned on and pinned in your Chrome toolbar, and that you’re logged in to Canva from the extension.
A saved image isn’t in my Uploads folder
Refresh the page, or open Canva in a new tab. New uploads always appear in a new tab or session. Saved images are named “Extension <filename>“, so search “Extension” in Uploads. If you still can’t find it, check which account the extension is signed in to, since images save to that account.
My GIF saved as a still image
Animated WebP, GIF, and AVIF files save as a single-frame PNG. To keep the animation, download the file and upload it from the Uploads tab.
